With reference 7939A1A0RU, Tudor pays tribute to the legendary Submariner aesthetic and introduces the monochrome “Burgundy” design for the first time in the popular 39 mm size. The domed dial in rich burgundy visually merges with the perfectly color-matched bezel into a unit that radiates warmth and vintage charm. This color combination is a homage to a rare Tudor prototype from the 1990s and makes the watch one of the most sought-after collector’s items of 2025.
Technological Milestone: METAS Certification
Despite its nostalgic look, the Black Bay 58 is a state-of-the-art precision instrument inside. The in-house caliber MT5400-U is certified as a Master Chronometer (METAS). This guarantees not only outstanding accuracy but also magnetic resistance of up to 15,000 gauss. With a power reserve of approximately 65 hours and a slimmer construction of only 11.7 mm height, it combines technical excellence with perfect ergonomics.
Comfort Without Compromise
A significant upgrade for the 2025 edition is the introduction of the T-fit clasp on the five- or three-row stainless steel bracelet. This system allows tool-free quick adjustment in five positions, so the watch can always be ideally fitted to the wrist. With its water resistance up to 200 meters and the characteristic “Big Crown” design, it remains a true tool watch that finds the perfect balance between presence and understatement in the 39 mm size.
