Refund policy
This English version is provided for convenience only. Only the German version is legally binding. In the event of any discrepancy between the German and the English version, the German version shall prevail.
1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, provided that you ordered one or several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered together;
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last good, provided that you ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately;
- on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the first good, provided that you ordered goods as part of a regular delivery over a defined period.

by means of a clear statement (e. g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the enclosed model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that you send the notification of your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
2. Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of the additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Owing to the high value of the goods and the insurance required, the cost of returning them cannot be stated exactly in advance. The estimated maximum cost of insured return shipment is expected to be up to EUR 50 within Germany and up to EUR 200 within the European Union. Please contact us before returning the goods at info@colognewatch.de or +49 (0) 221 270 988 18 so that we can arrange safe and insured return shipment for you.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (Section 357(7) of the German Civil Code (BGB)).
3. Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:
- the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer (Section 312g(2) no. 1 BGB).
