Panerai Luminor Due 3 Days – Reference PAM00676 (2017)
The Reference PAM00676 marks one of the most important strategic turning points in the history of Officine Panerai. With the introduction of the Luminor Due line in 2016 (and this beautiful model from 2017), the brand responded to the desire of many enthusiasts for the iconic Panerai design, packaged in an elegant, cuff-friendly construction. It is the first true dress watch Luminor.

The revolution of the case: The most distinctive feature of the PAM00676 is its thickness – or rather, the lack thereof. With a case height of just under 10.5 mm, it is about 40% slimmer than the classic, historical Luminor models. The fully polished 42 mm case made of AISI 316L stainless steel preserves the characteristic cushion shape and the patented crown protection device, but wears unobtrusively and elegantly with a fine suit.

The “Sun-Brushed” sandwich dial: The dial in Anthracite/Dark Grey features a spectacular sunburst finish (Satiné Soleil), which captures the light fascinatingly. It is constructed in the legendary sandwich design: the hour indices and the large Arabic numerals (12, 3, 6) are cut out from the upper dial layer, so that the intensely luminous Super-LumiNova layer underneath comes perfectly into effect. At 9 o’clock is the typical small seconds.

The flat manufacture caliber P.1000: The flat silhouette is made possible by the in-house movement P.1000. This mechanical caliber with Manual Wind consists of 152 components, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a solid power reserve of 3 days (72 hours) thanks to two barrels. A special feature for precision lovers: the movement has a seconds reset (Zero Reset), which automatically sets the seconds hand to zero when the crown is pulled out.

Elegant strap & everyday suitability: The watch is delivered on a noble black alligator leather strap with a polished Buckle Clasp, emphasizing the dress watch character. Important note for Panerai traditionalists: To achieve the slim design, the water resistance was reduced to 30 meters (3 bar). It is therefore not an instrument for deep-sea divers, but a statement for urban lifestyle.
