The Rolex Sky-Dweller in reference 326235 from the year 2020 is the perfect symbiosis of highly complex mechanics and modern aesthetics. Crafted from 18-carat Everose Gold – a Rolex-patented Rose Gold alloy that never loses its shine – this model marks the moment when the Sky-Dweller received a distinctly sportier touch through the Oysterflex Band.
A Mechanical Marvel: The Annual Calendar “Saros”
The Sky-Dweller is the most complicated watch in the Rolex range. It features an Annual Calendar that automatically distinguishes between months with 30 and 31 days (only February needs to be corrected manually).

Month Display: The 12 months are shown through small windows above the hour markers – a red indicator marks the current month.

Second Time Zone: The off-center disc on the dial shows the reference time (e.g., home time) in 24-hour format, while the main hands display the local time.
Ingenious Operation: The Ring-Command Bezel
Instead of adjusting the movement via numerous pushers, the Sky-Dweller uses the Ring-Command Bezel. By rotating the fluted Everose Gold bezel to different positions, the wearer selects whether to set the Date, local time, or reference time via the crown. This integration of mechanics and case is unique worldwide.
The Oysterflex Band: Sporty Elegance
The year 2020 was groundbreaking for the gold models of the Sky-Dweller, as they were introduced for the first time with the Oysterflex Band. This band combines the robustness of a metal bracelet (through an internal Titanium-Nickel spring blade core) with the comfort and flexibility of black elastomer. Equipped with the Oysterclasp folding clasp and the Glidelock system, it can be perfectly adjusted to the wrist.
The Heart: Caliber 9001
Inside works the manufacture caliber 9001, one of the brand’s most powerful movements. With a power reserve of approx. 72 hours and the blue Parachrom hairspring, it is extremely resistant to shocks and magnetic fields.
