Robust Construction
The case of the Sea-Dweller Deepsea is made from Oystersteel stainless steel, a highly corrosion-resistant material known for its exceptional strength and durability. The screwed-down case back and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal provide additional protection, while the helium escape valve allows pressure differences to be regulated during ascent.
Precise Movement
Inside the Sea-Dweller Deepsea works the Rolex Caliber 3235, a highly precise automatic movement offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement is equipped with the Chronergy escapement, which guarantees outstanding energy efficiency and reliability. As with all Rolex watches, the Caliber 3235 is certified as a chronometer and represents the highest precision.
Functional Design
The Deepsea’s dial is easy to read even under the most extreme conditions. The Chromalight display provides long-lasting blue luminescence in dark environments, while the large, rotating bezel with 60-minute graduations allows precise time measurement during diving. The Oyster bracelet links and Glidelock clasp offer comfort and flexibility, enabling the watch to be worn easily over a diving suit.
