The Reference 126710BLRO is the modern reincarnation of the very first GMT-Master from 1954. When Rolex finally reintroduced the red-blue bezel – lovingly called "Pepsi" by collectors worldwide – in stainless steel in 2018 after years of focusing on precious metal variants, it was a sensation in the watch world. To this day, this model epitomizes the coveted Rolex sports watch and is an absolute icon with astronomical waiting times.

The secret of the Cerachrom bezel: The greatest technical challenge with this reference lies in the bidirectional rotating bezel. Coloring a one-piece Ceramic in two colors – and especially producing a rich, clean Red and Blue without visible transitions – is considered a masterpiece in the watch industry. The numbers of the 24-hour scale are deeply engraved into the Ceramic and coated with platinum using a PVD process in an ultra-thin layer. Red symbolizes the daytime hours (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Blue the nighttime hours (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.).

Three time zones in view: On the deep black glossy dial, the distinctive red GMT hand provides the perfect color match. The watch is a true "True GMT" travel timepiece: The local hour hand can be independently jumped forward or backward in hourly increments when changing time zones, while the movement continues to run precisely in the background. A second and even a third time zone can be easily read via the bezel and the 24-hour hand.

The high-tech caliber 3285: Inside the 40 mm Oystersteel case works the automatic manufacture caliber 3285 of the latest generation. Equipped with the patented Chronergy escapement and the blue Parachrom hairspring, it is extremely resistant to magnetic fields and shocks. Thanks to the optimized efficiency, the movement offers an excellent power reserve of approx. 70 hours.

Versatile on the wrist: The Reference 126710BLRO launched in 2018 exclusively on the five-link, high-gloss polished Jubilee bracelet, which gives the watch an almost jewelry-like, elegant vintage charm. Later, Rolex also introduced the three-row, sporty-matte Oyster bracelet. Both bracelets feature the Oysterlock safety clasp and the practical Easylink system for quick extension by 5 mm on hot days.
