Rolex Day-Date II (Ref. 218239) – Statement in White Gold
The Day-Date II with the reference 218239 is the more generous interpretation of the "President" classic. With its massive 41 mm case made of 18-carat White Gold, it offers significantly more presence on the wrist than the traditional 36 mm version.
Case & Aftermarket Bezel
While the model is delivered from the factory with the typical fluted White Gold bezel, this reference often features aftermarket modifications. In these cases, the original bezel is usually replaced by a diamond-set version.

Important: Such changes are not performed by Rolex. While this gives the watch an individual, high-end look, it affects the original condition and often also the resale value as well as the service options directly with the manufacturer.
Dial & Display
The design remains functional and luxurious: The Date is located at 3 o'clock under the Cyclops lens, while the spelled-out Weekday prominently sits at 12 o'clock. In White Gold models, the Roman numerals or indices are often also made of White Gold to create a harmonious, cool overall appearance.
Technology: Caliber 3156
Inside works the Caliber 3156. It is an evolution of the 3155 and was specially optimized for the larger case. It features the blue Parachrom hairspring and the Paraflex shock absorption system, making the watch particularly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields.
President Bracelet
Matching the status of the watch, it is equipped with the massive President bracelet. The concealed Crownclasp folding clasp ensures a seamless look of the bracelet and emphasizes the exclusive aesthetics of the Day-Date line.
