Richard Mille RM 055 "Bubba Watson" – The White Legend
The Richard Mille RM 055, inspired by pro golfer Bubba Watson, is the essence of what Richard Mille defines as "a racing machine on the wrist." It was designed to withstand the extreme acceleration forces of a professional golf swing and combines futuristic materials with a skeletonized mechanism that seems to float almost weightlessly within the case.
High-tech Materials: ATZ and Ti5
The case of the RM 055 is a technological powerhouse:

Bezel made of ATZ ceramic: The white bezel is made of ATZ (Alumina Toughened Zirconia), one of the hardest materials in the world. It is extremely scratch-resistant and retains its matte, flawless White permanently.

Middle case & back: These are made of Grade 5 Titanium, additionally coated with a white Rubber protective layer (Rubber-Injection). This provides exceptional shock absorption and the distinctive "Ghost" look.
The RMUL2 Caliber: Architecture of Emptiness
The centerpiece is the fully skeletonized manufacture caliber RMUL2 made of Titanium. It is designed to easily withstand accelerations of over 500 G.

Skeletonization: Each bridge has been reduced to the absolute minimum, allowing a full view through the watch.

PVD/Titalyt coating: The movement is coated black, creating a dramatic contrast to the white case.

Free-sprung balance: It ensures the highest precision and stability during intense movements (such as a golf swing on the course).
Design & Ergonomics
The RM 055 forgoes a classic dial; the indices are directly applied to the inner flange. The characteristic spline screws made of Titanium hold the case together and emphasize the industrial look. Despite its striking presence, the watch is extremely light and fits perfectly on the wrist thanks to the ventilated Rubber strap.
