With the Cubitus 5821/1A, launched in 2024, Patek Philippe presents its first completely new collection in over a quarter of a century. This reference reinterprets the sporty elegance of the manufacture in a distinctive square case shape, making a bold statement for modern watchmaking.
Geometry & Design
The 45 mm case made of stainless steel impresses with its unique square silhouette with rounded corners, bridging classic and progressive design elements. The dial in a deep sunburst olive green features the horizontal relief decoration typical of Patek Philippe sports models. This texture creates a fascinating play of light and emphasizes the masculine aesthetic of the timepiece.
Flat Silhouette & Comfort
Despite its impressive presence on the wrist, the Cubitus remains remarkably flat with a case height of only 8.3 mm. The integrated steel bracelet was specially developed for this model and features a new patented extension system integrated into the Folding Clasp. This guarantees first-class wearing comfort under all conditions.
State-of-the-Art Caliber Technology
Inside works the precise Automatic caliber 26-330 S C. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement reveals the highest level of finishing, including a central rotor made of 21 karat Gold. It offers a hacking seconds function for precise time setting and a power reserve of up to 45 hours. With water resistance of 30 meters and the prestigious Patek Philippe Seal certification, the 5821/1A marks the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s history.
