The 2013 Rolex Submariner, reference 114060, is the uncompromising, purest form of what is arguably the world's most famous dive watch classic. Introduced in 2012 as the direct successor to reference 14060M, the 114060 brought the timeless Submariner without a date into the era of scratch-resistant Cerachrom ceramic bezels and the distinctive “Super Case” architecture for the first time. By omitting the date window and Cyclops lens, this model stands out for its perfectly symmetrical dial aesthetic, valued by collectors as the purest and most historically authentic interpretation of the tool-watch concept.

Distinctive 40 mm “Super Case” in Oystersteel: Crafted from highly corrosion-resistant 904L stainless steel. This generation is distinguished by its broader lugs and pronounced crown guards, giving the watch a particularly solid, modern presence despite its classic 40 mm proportions.

Scratch-resistant Cerachrom ceramic bezel: The unidirectional rotating dive bezel in deep-black high-tech ceramic is extremely resistant to impacts and UV exposure. The recesses of the 60-minute scale are lined with an ultra-thin layer of platinum using a PVD process.
