Rolex Sea-Dweller Ref. 126600 “Single Red”

The Rolex Sea-Dweller reference 126600 from 2022 is the ultimate expression of Rolex’s highly professional deep-sea diving watch. Presented on the occasion of the model line’s 50th anniversary in 2017, this reference combines a historical tribute with the most advanced modern tool-watch technology. Its most distinctive detail is the red “Sea-Dweller” inscription on the dial, which directly recalls the legendary original Sea-Dweller (Ref. 1665 “Single Red”) from 1967. For the first time in the model’s history, Rolex combines a striking 43 mm case with the characteristic Cyclops lens over the date window on the 126600.

• Robust 43 mm Oyster case in Oystersteel: Crafted from highly resistant 904L stainless steel. The powerful 43 mm profile gives the watch an imposing, uncompromising presence on the wrist, while retaining excellent ergonomics thanks to its redesigned, curved lugs.

• Integrated helium escape valve at 9 o’clock: A true hallmark of the Sea-Dweller. The patented pressure-relief valve automatically releases helium gas from inside the case during decompression chamber surfacing, preventing damage to the Sapphire Crystal.

• Unidirectional rotating Ceramic bezel (Cerachrom): Equipped with a deep-black Ceramic insert and a platinum-coated, continuous 60-minute graduation. This allows every dive and decompression phase to be monitored precisely.

• Glossy black dial with red “Sea-Dweller” inscription: The “Maxi Dial” features indexes set in 18-karat White Gold, broad hands and a bright blue Chromalight display. The red inscription gives the dial collectible appeal and an unmistakable vintage tribute.

• COSC-certified Caliber 3235 manufacture chronometer: Powered by Rolex’s high-performance movement with a patented Chronergy escapement, paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement offers a reliable power reserve of approximately 70 hours with exceptional precision (-2/+2 seconds per day).
