Description
Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Chronograph Ref. 232.30.46.51.01.001
The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M Chronograph with reference 232.30.46.51.01.001 from 2013 is a highly functional powerhouse and a masterful statement of robust Swiss watchmaking. As a direct homage to Omega’s rich underwater heritage, this model combines the immense pressure resistance of a professional extreme-diving watch with the legendary in-house Chronograph calibre 9300. With its imposing 45.5 mm stainless steel case, distinctive Ceramic bezel and characteristic orange accents, this instrument represents uncompromising performance above and below the surface.
-
Solid case crafted from premium stainless steel: The 45.5 mm case impresses with a fascinating combination of satin-brushed and mirror-polished surfaces. Its striking presence on the wrist immediately conveys a sense of indestructible quality and technical dominance.
-
Scratch-resistant Ceramic bezel with matte finish: The unidirectional diving bezel is made of robust black Ceramic. Together with the luminous primary marker at 12 o’clock, the integrated diving scale ensures precise and safe measurement of dive times.
-
Deep-black dial with ingenious totalizer concept: The matte dial stands out with its excellent symmetry. Thanks to the revolutionary layout of calibre 9300, the 60-minute and 12-hour counters share the right-hand sub-dial at 3 o’clock. This makes elapsed time as intuitive to read as on an ordinary watch.
-
Outstanding nighttime legibility (Super-LumiNova): The applied indexes and arrow-shaped hands are coated with high-performance Super-LumiNova. The minute hand and the dot on the bezel glow Green for maximum diving safety, while all other elements shine in bright Blue.
-
In-house manufacture calibre 9300 with Co-Axial escapement: At its heart is the spectacular Automatic Chronograph movement, calibre 9300. Equipped with two barrels connected in series (approximately 60 hours of power reserve), a column-wheel mechanism and the antimagnetic Si14 silicon balance spring, it guarantees extremely stable rate performance and maximum longevity.
-
Transparent Sapphire Crystal case back & Sapphire Crystal front: A double-sided anti-reflective and extremely scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal protects the dial side. The case back, also made of Sapphire Crystal, provides an unobstructed view of the calibre, elaborately decorated with Geneva waves in an Arabesque pattern.
-
Professional equipment for extreme depths (600m / 60 ATM): With its screw-down crown, screw-down Chronograph pushers and manual helium escape valve at 10 o’clock, the Chronograph is water-resistant to a depth of 600 metres and equipped for professional saturation diving.
-
Solid stainless steel bracelet with diving extension: The timepiece is worn on a three-row, brushed stainless steel bracelet. The supple Folding Clasp features an integrated diving extension for quickly fastening it over diving equipment.
-
An indestructible modern classic (2013): As a model from 2013, this Planet Ocean reference embodies the era in which Omega perfected its in-house Chronograph technology. An expressive, exceptionally value-retaining all-rounder for enthusiasts of imposing sports Chronographs.
