The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M with reference 232.30.46.21.01.001 from 2012 marks one of the most significant evolutionary stages in the history of Omega's modern diving watches. As part of the second generation of the Planet Ocean series, this reference introduced the groundbreaking in-house calibre 8500 with Co-Axial escapement, as well as an extremely scratch-resistant Ceramic bezel, to the collection. With its imposing 45.5 mm case diameter, integrated helium escape valve and immense pressure resistance, it embodies an uncompromising professional diving instrument of fascinating mechanical sophistication.

• Solid 45.5 mm stainless steel case: Crafted from highly corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel, the XL case impresses with Omega's characteristic "Lyre Lugs" (curved lugs), featuring alternating satin-brushed and mirror-polished facets.

• Unidirectional rotating black Ceramic diving bezel: The matte black Ceramic bezel (zirconium oxide) is extremely resistant to scratches and UV radiation. The engraved 60-minute scale is filled with a bright chromium nitride alloy for optimal legibility.

• Deep black dial with orange accents: The matte dial impresses with its applied indices and hands featuring dual-color luminescence. While the hour indices and hour hand glow in intense blue Super-LumiNova®, the minute hand, together with the dot on the bezel, provides a green signal for maximum diving safety. The orange tip of the seconds hand and the orange "Seamaster" inscription add striking splashes of color.

• In-house calibre 8500 (COSC-certified): Inside, the automatic in-house movement beats with the revolutionary Co-Axial escapement and two barrels connected in series, providing a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. Equipped with the antimagnetic Si14 silicon balance spring, it guarantees exceptional rate stability and precision.

• Scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal & Sapphire Crystal caseback: A strongly domed Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides ensures a glare-free view of the dial. Through the screw-down Sapphire Crystal caseback, the elaborately finished in-house movement, decorated with Geneva stripes in an arabesque pattern, can be admired.

• Professional water resistance (600m / 60 ATM) & helium valve: The characteristic manual helium escape valve for professional saturation diving is positioned at 10 o'clock. Together with the screw-down crown and caseback, the watch withstands pressures of up to 60 bar.

• Solid stainless steel bracelet with diving extension: The reference is worn on a three-row, satin-brushed stainless steel bracelet with a solid Folding Clasp and integrated diving extension for practical adjustment over a wetsuit.
