The Rolex Sea-Dweller with reference 126603, introduced in 2019, marks a historic chapter in the evolution of the Geneva manufacture's extreme deep-sea diving watches. For the first time in the collection's more than 50-year history, Rolex introduced the refined two-tone design (Yellow Rolesor) to its uncompromising Professional diving line. With its imposing 43 mm case, characteristic gold “Sea-Dweller” lettering and patented helium escape valve, Ref. 126603 combines the functional high performance of a professional underwater instrument with the luxurious appeal of solid 18-carat Yellow Gold.

• Imposing 43 mm Oyster case in Yellow Rolesor: Crafted from extremely robust stainless steel (Oystersteel) combined with solid 18-carat Yellow Gold. The distinctive case proportions ensure a powerful presence on the wrist while maintaining the familiar ergonomic fit.

• Helium escape valve at 9 o’clock: An automatic helium escape valve made of Titanium and integrated into the case ensures safe pressure equalization during ascent from professional saturation dives.

• Rotatable Cerachrom bezel in black Ceramic: The unidirectional diving bezel made of scratch-resistant black Ceramic features a 60-minute graduation. The numerals and graduations are elaborately coated with a fine layer of Yellow Gold using the PVD process.

• Deep black dial with golden accents: The matte, deep black dial is distinguished by the iconic two-line model lettering, with the name “Sea-Dweller” rendered in the same refined gold tone as the hands and index surrounds.

• Long-lasting Chromalight luminescence: The broad hands and indices made of 18-carat Yellow Gold are filled with blue Chromalight luminescent material and offer excellent legibility in complete darkness and underwater.

• Sapphire Crystal with Cyclops lens over the Date: Protected by extremely robust Sapphire Crystal with the characteristic Date magnifier at 3 o’clock.

• High-performance manufacture calibre 3235 (COSC & Rolex certification): Equipped with the patented Chronergy escapement, an anti-magnetic blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The automatic movement offers an approximately 70-hour power reserve with an accuracy of -2/+2 seconds per day.

• Screw-down Triplock winding crown: Made of 18-carat Yellow Gold and fitted with a triple sealing system, it reliably protects the movement together with the screw-down Oystersteel case back.

• Professional water resistance (1,220 m / 4,000 ft): Reliable pressure resistance for the most extreme diving depths and professional applications.

• Three-row Oyster bracelet with Fliplock & Glidelock: The polished centre links made of 18-carat Yellow Gold create an elegant contrast with the satin-finished Oystersteel outer links. The Oysterlock safety folding clasp is equipped with the Fliplock extension link and the Rolex Glidelock fine-adjustment system.
