Description
The Rolex GMT-Master II with reference 126720VTNR from 2023 is one of the most exceptional and masterfully crafted models in the history of the Rolex Professional line. Known among watch enthusiasts worldwide as the “Sprite”, this GMT-Master II captivates with its avant-garde case architecture: it is designed as a so-called “Destro” watch, with the screw-down crown and crown guards unusually positioned on the left side of the case (9 o’clock). Combined with the two-tone Cerachrom ceramic bezel in Green and Black, this reference is a coveted highlight of modern Rolex engineering.
Robust 40 mm Oystersteel case for left-handed wearers (Destro): The case made of high-strength 904L stainless steel is distinguished by the reversed arrangement of its controls. The winding crown and crown guards are positioned at 9 o’clock - ideal for left-handed wearers or those who appreciate unconventional wearing options.
Two-tone Cerachrom bezel in Green and Black: The bidirectional 24-hour bezel stands out with its seamless ceramic insert. The green half represents the daytime hours, while the black half represents the nighttime hours. The engraved numerals and graduations are meticulously coated with platinum using the PVD process.
Glossy black dial with offset date window: The deep black dial perfectly showcases the distinctive green GMT hand. Due to the rotation of the case, the date window, including the characteristic Cyclops magnifier, is positioned at 9 o'clock. The hands and indices are coated with highly luminous Chromalight material.
In-house Manufacture Calibre 3285: Inside, the latest-generation, highly advanced automatic movement with two time zones is at work. It features the antimagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring, the Paraflex shock protection system and the highly efficient Chronergy escapement. The calibre offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve with the familiar chronometer precision (-2/+2 seconds per day).
Scratch-resistant Sapphire Crystal with magnifier at 9 o'clock: A flat Sapphire Crystal protects the dial. The magnifying Cyclops lens is positioned precisely over the date window at 9 o'clock.
Professional-grade water resistance (100m / 10 ATM): The screw-down Triplock winding crown and hermetically sealed, screw-down Oystersteel case back provide complete protection against moisture and pressure.
Oyster or Jubilee bracelet with Easylink extension: The reference can be worn either on the three-link Oyster bracelet or the five-link Jubilee bracelet in 904L stainless steel. The Oysterlock safety folding clasp features the practical Easylink extension system (+5 mm).
