The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with reference 116520 is an iconic milestone in the history of the Geneva chronograph. Introduced in 2000 as the successor to the legendary “Zenith Daytona,” it debuted the manufacture’s very first in-house automatic chronograph movement (Caliber 4130). The Ref. 116520 also marks the final generation of stainless steel Daytonas with an engraved stainless steel tachymeter bezel, before the ceramic bezel was introduced in 2016. Offered as an “Only Watch” - meaning the watch is supplied without its original packaging or factory warranty card - this classic offers a particularly purist entry into the world of rare collector’s chronographs with an excellent price-performance ratio.
