Rolex Yacht-Master "Bamford Heritage" (Ref. 16622) – Black Avant-Garde
This Rolex Yacht-Master 16622 from the year 2006 is the result of a visionary transformation by the renowned custom house Bamford Watch Department. The originally stainless steel and platinum Yacht-Master has been turned into a deep black, highly resistant work of art that redefines the boundaries between classic luxury and urban stealth design.
Custom Finish & Aesthetics
The case and Oyster bracelet have been refined with Bamford's characteristic PVD coating (Physical Vapour Deposition). This matte, deep black finish gives the watch a completely new, tactical presence. A special highlight remains the bidirectional rotating bezel: while the relief was preserved, the black coating creates a fascinating play of shadow and light that immerses the original platinum look in a mysterious darkness.
High-Contrast Dial
The dial was perfectly color-matched to the black case as part of the customization. The striking indices and the red seconds hand create powerful accents against the dark background. These modifications make the watch a unique piece for collectors who find a standard Rolex too conventional and value an exclusive, masterfully handcrafted customization.
Proven Technology
Beneath the customized case works the reliable Rolex manufacture caliber 3135. This mechanical automatic movement with date display is officially certified as a chronometer (COSC) and stands for unwavering precision. Despite its new look, the Yacht-Master retains its functional virtues such as the Triplock winding crown and water resistance of 100 meters, making it the perfect choice for individualists with an active lifestyle.
