The IWC Aquatimer Automatic (Reference IW329002) is the modern interpretation of a professional diving watch from Schaffhausen. Made from robust stainless steel, it combines a distinctive, instrumental design with innovative operation and highest everyday practicality. It is the perfect tool for diving sports that also makes an excellent impression on land.
The SafeDive System: Innovation on the Bezel
The absolute highlight of the Aquatimer series is the patented IWC SafeDive System. This innovative mechanism combines the advantages of an internal dive time scale with the ease of use of an external bezel:

Mechanical coupling: The rotation of the grippy external bezel is transferred to the internal rotating ring.

Safety function: For safety reasons, the scale can only be adjusted counterclockwise. This effectively prevents accidental extension of the dive time.

Clear dial: The deep black dial, together with the broad hands and indices, ensures a tidy, uncompromising symmetry, complemented by a discreet Date at 3 o’clock.
Powerful Proportions & Perfect Legibility
With a case diameter of 42 mm, the watch has a sporty and present architecture on the wrist. To provide maximum orientation underwater and at night, the Aquatimer is equipped with a two-tone luminous material: The dive time relevant displays on the inner ring and the minute hand glow in intense Green, while the hour display shines in clear Blue.
Reliable Technology & Quick Strap Change
Inside, the proven mechanical Automatic caliber 30120 ensures precision and a power reserve of approx. 42 hours. The case is absolutely waterproof up to a depth of 300 meters (30 bar).
Another well-thought-out feature of the IW329002 is the solid stainless steel link bracelet, which is equipped with the IWC bracelet quick-change system. This allows the metal bracelet to be swapped out in no time and completely tool-free for a rubber strap – ideal for the quick change between business meeting and dive.
