The Bvlgari Octo Finissimo Skeleton in reference BGO40CXTDL from the year 2020 is a radical demonstration of Italian design and Swiss watchmaking art. Made from sandblasted black Ceramic, this watch is not just a timepiece but a sculptural composition of light, shadow, and emptiness.
The Architecture of the Ultra-Thin
The case of the Octo Finissimo is world-famous for its complex geometry: 110 facets, finished with Handwork. Despite this complexity, the watch is extremely flat. The use of black high-tech Ceramic gives the watch a velvety feel and makes it almost scratch-resistant. The fully skeletonized design allows a deep view into the mechanical soul of the watch, with every unnecessary gram of material removed.
