Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Tourbillon Chronograph (Ref. 26288OF)
The Reference 26288OF is a demonstration of horological excellence within the Offshore line. It combines the bold design of the collection with two of the most demanding complications in watchmaking: the Tourbillon and the Chronograph.
Case & Material Mix
The massive 44 mm case is made of 18-carat Rose Gold, giving the watch a substantial physical weight and visual warmth. The technical contrast is provided by the distinctive octagonal bezel made of black Ceramic, known for its extreme scratch resistance and matte finish. The pushers and crown are also made of Ceramic to enhance durability during operation.
The Tourbillon at 6 o’clock
A special feature of this reference is the Tourbillon positioned at 6 o’clock. It serves to compensate for the negative effects of gravity on the balance wheel, thereby optimizing timekeeping accuracy. The Tourbillon is fully visible through the dial cutout, showcasing the delicate rotation of the cage.
Dial Architecture
The dial follows the “Méga Tapisserie” pattern but is skeletonized or designed with deep views into the movement due to the complications.

Chronograph: The Chronograph displays are symmetrically arranged, with the design deliberately technical and masculine.

Accents: The hands and indices are also made of Rose Gold and filled with luminous material to ensure readability despite the complex background texture.
Caliber 2912
Inside operates the manufacture caliber 2912, a movement with Manual Wind. It was specially developed to combine the high energy of a Chronograph with the precision of a Tourbillon.

Power Reserve: Thanks to a double barrel, the movement has an impressive power reserve of approx. 237 hours (almost 10 days).

Finishing: The bridges are black anodized or finely finished, which can be admired through the sapphire case back.
Strap
The watch is traditionally delivered on a black “Hornback” alligator leather strap. The distinctive, coarse stitching of the leather emphasizes the rustic and luxurious character of the Offshore series, secured by an AP folding clasp made of 18-carat Rose Gold.
